300 Km south from Zagreb , the capital of Croatia, it is easy to reach Vodice by car in just 2.5 h. Split, the second largest city in Croatia, is just  1,5h away, and Dubrovnik, the Pearl of Adriatic, another 3 hours’ drive.

Vodice is ideal for grandparents and children; actually it is perfect throughout the year for all of you who enjoy sailing, since Yacht Marina Vodice  is open 365 days. From there you can explore hundreds of islands on your vessel, including two National Parks, both of which can be easily accessed by sea – the famous Kornati islands archipelago and the renowned river Krka waterfalls , flowing into the Adriatic sea.

With its 5.000 inhabitants Vodice has a long touristic tradition, offering you a wide range of activities .  Enjoy its Mediterranean flavour best in June, September and October; it is the best time to enjoy your retirement days. The peak of the tourist season, though, is in July and August, when the sunshine lures you to swimming in the crystal clear blue of the Adriatic sea, and the vibrant night life with open-air concerts, jazz festivals, local cuisine in small family restaurants and cafes is hard to resist.
